MAUPEOU Economic Activity Zone Wastewater Treatment Plant – 800 Equivalent Person (PE)

COTRAM Assainissement has completed a Planted Vegetation Filter (Filtre Planté de Végétaux in French) type wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 800 Equivalent Person (PE). It is located in the Maupeou Economic Activity Zone in Rivière-Salée, Martinique.

The chosen process is a Biho-filter®, designed and sized by our partner ECOBIRD, a system that superimposes a primary filter with freely drained vertical flow over a secondary filter saturated with water to improve overall nitrogen performance (denitrification).
